Onyx HR is an employee HR app used by staff of their employer to record attendance and manage leaves and payroll. Data is processed on behalf of the employer.

Data we collect

• Account & profile: name, employee ID, department, employment details.
• Precise location: captured only at the moment of clock-in/out to verify on-site attendance, or on an explicit employer request with your consent. No background tracking.
• Photos: your profile photo and photos you capture in response to employer field requests.
• Device data: push notification token and basic technical info to run the service.

How we use data

Data is used solely to operate the app's features (attendance, leaves, payroll, notifications) for your employer. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for advertising, or use it to track you across apps.

Security & retention

Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). It is retained while your account is active with your employer and deleted on request or account termination.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data via your employer or by contacting us. Location and camera permissions are optional and revocable in your device settings.

Children

This app is intended for adult employees and is not directed to children under 18.
